The finished, furnished and fully decorated SCADpads would not be standing without the help of superintendent Jim Falk. Falk oversaw the construction of the units, managed and scheduled the trades involved, and assisted artists with installations. He supervised the transportation of the SCADpads to Atlanta, the disassembly and reassembly in the SCAD Atlanta parking garage, and the finishing touches on the exterior and interior. His role on the project is an outgrowth of his post as SCAD superintendent of special projects since 1996. For three years prior to that, he traveled and installed SCAD faculty and alumni shows and exhibitions. Before coming to SCAD, Falk worked as a phone and arbitrage clerk on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, and was employed by various firms such as E.F. Hutton & Co. and Shearson Lehman Bros. in the S&P 500 futures market. He studied at Colorado State University.
